Clearing Elements

The three basics!!!

Ahhh, my space needs to be defunked! And in more than one way! What can I do???

I often get asked this question. And I'm sure many people have heard of these practices that I'm about to list, they never get old in this department!

Honestly, you don't need to spend one cent on purchasing anything to clear a home! Good old bringing in God's White Light into a space, object being is more than perfect! That being said, if you're like me, an extra added element helps make the ritual more tactile. Holy Water is another freebie that works! I don't even think you have to be a Catholic and run to the church to fill up your container. Just bless water by pulling in God's White Light. (Of course, this will depend on your faith and spirituality, so proceed as you see fit.)

That being said, one of my favorites to use is Sage! It's one of my favorite feelings when visiting an American Indian festival. I've been going yearly since I was 15 years old. (Let's just say that's over 20 years, shall we?) If you look up the scientific benefits of Sage, I think you'd be amazingly surprised! And of course, an amazingly ancient practice has to have benefits, right? Did you know burning Sage helps to increase the negative ions in the air? Go look what negative ions can do for you. I'll wait. Ok, I'll tell you. It's like creating a happy place! It's why Edgar Cayce was called to Virginia Beach. There are massive amounts of negative ions on that beach! It's part of healing. If you look up buying Sage, you'll see many people make it with other herbs and flowers. My favorite is when it's bundled with Yerba Santa: https://amzn.to/3BfZdnn It smells like tea to my senses! (This is my experience. It may differ to another's senses.)

Another fav is Palo Santo! I love the way this smells! It's like licorice! Except, I can enjoy the smell and not the taste! I often use my essential oil to anoint my forehead before I meditate. Palo Santo means "Holy Wood" and helps with spiritual attunement. I also love burning the little sticks of wood. Sometimes this feels like less work than burning Sage. I know that sounds silly. Sometimes just the effort to get the Sage going seems longer than to just burn a stick of Palo Santo. Sometimes it just depends on what I want to smell. I bought from this company and absolutely loved their product: https://amzn.to/3x0iUNv I can be a stickler about smell, and sometimes Palo Santo doesn't have much of a smell until you burn the stick. This company's product smells just from it sitting there and looking pretty! It would be nice just as a drawer sachet!

Last, but not least, I have to include Selenite. It's a basic essential if you're into crystals. It reminds me of God's White Light. It's like taking a shower with all of Heaven and it's Angels. Selenite is just that, it cleans with white light. It's a basic because it also helps cleanse other crystals without you having to figure other techniques. It's simple. No effort is required. Just keep it around. Although, if you're sensitive, you may enjoy holding it and closing your eyes and seeing white light shower over you. I had a crystal enthusiast suggest using it when you come home from being out for the day as a way of clearing off the negative energy. I thought it was a great idea! Now, you usually only need a piece, which will run you on the high end about $3. That being said, no reason you can't put a few pieces around your dwelling if you like the feeling it gives. I used this company and liked their product: https://amzn.to/3ANWccF You can always give them away as gifts. It's a nice thing to receive, as many wouldn't go out of their way to purchase for their own use.

Well, that's my schpiel for now. Hope you enjoy these suggestions for clearing. See you next month my loving friends!

Blessings and Light,
