Selenite, the Greek word for moonstone named after the Goddess, Selene. It's one crystal that is said to clear other crystals and charge their energy. Citrine may do this, too. It has a soft nature and is not supposed to be put under water, as it will dissolve. Although, I've heard that there is selenite that is stronger and it's possible to put in water. In my brief research, I have found a few conflicting notions. Some crystal people will say that it's the same as Satin Spar. Others will say they are different crystals. I was just told over the weekend that someone had it burned over them to clear energy. I thought she may have confused it with the Palo Santo or sage that it was sitting next to, but she was very clear that it was Selenite that was burned. I have yet to find information about this practice.

I will be reporting from my own experience and knowledge about Selenite, and why I was encouraged to share this information. I was led by my Guides to use it for a specific aliment that I've had to deal.

Selenite definitely brings in the White Light. Just looking at it inspires seeing Light! I was instructed by a crystal store owner to use it like a spiritual white light shower when I walk in the door. It's a great piece to clear off the energy of the day as you walk into your sanctuary or home. It's great to just hold, close your eyes and see the Light. It's definitely connected to the higher realms and is a conduit of their everlasting Love and purity. It makes sense that it helps to clear other crystals. Because of its clear connection to the higher realms, it's a great way to connect with your angels and/or meditate, too. Remember, it's not necessary, it's just a helpful tool depending on your practice.

You can see why it gets paired with Sage and Palo Santo. It helps to clear negative energy because of it's high vibration. It's a great piece to put all around your home, keep on your person or desk, or have in your car. You can find them in any size from ones that fit in your pocket to ones that are the size of a small table. I guess it all depends on your needs and passion for crystals. They even come in heart shapes!

So, on to why I was called to write this article. It's a follow up to a quick video I did on Tik Tok. I've had Vertigo off and on for about ten years. More so in the past five. It seems to get triggered by my sinuses. There are two types of Vertigo. One, that's based inside the middle ear, and the other is neurological. I have the middle ear Vertigo. We all have "crystals" in our middle ear, and sometimes they get dislodged. I remember the neurology doctor telling me that fact and thinking that it was wild that we had crystals in our bodies! Fast forward ten years later, and even though it was adjusted, I would have the issue every once in a while. Now, from knowing myself so well, I say that's it's my sinuses that cause the issue, but I know it has a lot to do of my emotional state, too. And emotionally, it has been hard to stay focused. 

Anyway, about two months ago I was getting out of bed in the morning, annoyed I had to do it methodically so I wouldn't get too dizzy. I heard my Guides say, "Just use your Selenite". What?!? It seemed silly, and yet, it made sense! So, I begrudgingly picked it up and put it next to the ear I know has the issue. I could feel like a "woww" when I put it next to me ear, and I got a little dizzy even though I was sitting up straight. I just held it there until I could feel like it was done. I swear it was adjusting the crystals!  After, I decided to buy some Selenite earrings for when I work out, but I haven't needed them since I used the Selenite.  I used it that one time. I basically wear them when I work out, just in case.

In the brief research I did about Selenite, looked up the "healing properties", and found nothing about my condition or experience.
